In this workshop we will cover:
harvesting dahlia clumps from the field
dividing dahlia tubers, while learning the anatomy of a clump and the body parts of a tuber and how to select the most viable tubers for saving
best practices for labeling your tubers
the pros and cons of different winter storage methods
tips for getting a head start next spring!
You’re welcome to gain some hands-on practice if that’s your learning style - or just observe the process. Come away with confidence for digging & storing your own dahlias and with 5 tubers to take home, store and plant next year.
