Saturday, June 13
1 pm - 3 pm
Gather, design, and create in the heart of our flower farm.
There is nothing quite like spring in the flower studio. We invite you to join us for a hands-on floral design experience centered around local peonies and seasonal garden companions.
In this workshop, you will discover what makes a stunning design, working with color, texture, scale and movement. Using eco-friendly mechanics and an elegant footed, compote vessel (that you can re-use all summer), you’ll create a charming peony-focused centerpiece. I’ll provide everything you need - all you need to bring is your creativity, an apron, and a pair of snippers (but we can provide those, if needed).
Sourcing flowers, textured foliage, and botanicals germane to our region, we’ll show you how to spot potential design treasures right in your own backyard garden.
Because a beautiful arrangement starts long before it hits the vase, we will also cover the foundational basics of harvesting, hydration, and conditioning so your flowers stay fresh and vibrant.
Surrounded by the sights and scents of the farm, you'll gain the practical skills and creative confidence to capture the fleeting magic of spring.
Please note: workshop fees are transferrable but not refundable.
